About Luis Lopez Senior, (pictured above) served in the US Army during the height of the Cold War in Wildflecken, Germany. During his tour of duty, he serviced and repaired Army vehicles, keeping our troops going. This experience gave him the skills and satisfaction that led him to continue servicing and fixing others' vehicles after being honorably discharged. Luis Sr. founded his automotive repair shop in 1968 as a place where motorists can get reliable and competitively priced repairs and parts. Formerly located on Western Ave in Hollywood, he moved the shop to its current location in Atwater Village. From its' founding, Luis Sr. served his customers and community as a proud small business owner and lead technician; he formally retired in 2012.
